Best budget golf balls (under £25) for all players

By Fore Right

Finding a golf ball that suits your style of play is important, and you may be surprised to see a few strokes knocked off your game when switching to a new and improved ball. There are hundreds, if not thousands of ball manufacturers and models on the market and it can be confusing to find the benefits of what each one provides. We have put together a list of the top 5 most popular golf balls and kept to a budget maximum of £25 per pack. If you are anything like us, you’re bound to lose a few balls on a round so we can’t quite justify spending the £43 on a 12 pack of Pro V1s just yet.

Srixon Distance – £15.99 – OUR PICK

Promoted as ‘Amazons best-selling golf Ball’ as seen here in the Rick Shiels Golf YouTube review. These balls offer great value for money at £15.99 for a pack of 12 (£1.33 per ball) and have glowing reviews to back them up. I have personally been using these balls for a few weeks now and can say they feel great in all aspects of the course, they offer good distance and feel good on the greens, perfect for mid to high handicappers.

Callaway Supersoft – £19.99

For those of you that prefer playing with a softer ball feel these Callaway Supersofts may be the way forward. With over 6,000 5* reviews on Amazon, they offer good value for money at just under £20 for 12 balls (£1.65 per ball).

These soft feel balls are perfect for high handicappers as they offer high forgiveness for those long drives. As an added bonus they are also available in a range of different colours, including some very bright neon to
help you find them if you get stuck in the rough!

Titleist TruFeel Golf Balls – £24

This is for those of you that want to buy Titleist but don’t want to spend the big bucks. You’ll be pleased to know it is possible to get a decent golf ball from Titleist without going to their flagship Pro V range.

At £24 for 12 balls the Titleist TruFeel balls offer a decent value and good all-round performance. The balls are on the softer side of things but would be better suited to a low to medium handicapper.

Callaway Warbird – £15.95

Another good offering here from Callaway. This is there more budget offering but still a great purchase for £15.95 for a pack of 12 (£1.32 per ball). Their range of Warbird golf balls are designed for distance, so if that
is what you think your game is lacking these may suit your play style.

They have some great reviews on Amazon and although I have never played with them myself, I may be tempted by the low cost and decent feedback these balls have received, let me know in the comments below if you have used these before. Also available in yellow for a few £ more.

Bridgestone E6 – £23

Bridgestone has had a good reputation for making great golf balls over the years. The E6 are no exception to that and offer a fantastic feeling ball for under £23 for 12 (£1.91 per ball).

These balls have been advertised as ‘engineered for consistency’, which let’s face it is what we all want in our game of golf! Suited to a low to medium handicapped golfer with high ball speeds.
